Ronald ValenciaRONALD VALENCIA

Mr. Valencia has been practicing law since 1983 and is the managing partner of the firm. He graduated with honors from the University of California at Berkeley in 1979. He continued his education at the University of California Hastings College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1983. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Alameda County Bar Association, and Santa Clara County Bar Association. Mr. Valencia is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. He is a certified specialist in workers' compensation law and is a Judge Pro Tempore at the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board. He has conducted numerous seminars on workers' compensation law and has expertise in social security law. His practice focuses on workers' compensation defense, including Serious and Willful Misconduct claims, and Labor Code Section 132a claims.

Thomas WilberdingTHOMAS WILBERDING

Mr. Wilberding has been practicing law for over 20 years. He obtained his bachelors degree at the University of California at Berkeley in 1982 and his law degree from McGeorge School of Law in 1985. He is a member of the California Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Santa Clara County Bar Association. He is a certified specialist in workers' compensation law and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California. Mr. Wilberding has lectured for various insurance companies, self-insureds and claims associations on workers' compensation and self-employment related issues. His workers' compensation practice also includes defending Serious and Willful Misconduct claims, and Labor Code Section 132a discrimination claims. Mr. Wilberding has specialized expertise in school district and education code claims.

Robert RomeroROBERT ROMERO

Mr. Romero earned degrees in History and Sociology from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2002. Mr. Romero then pursued his legal education at the University of Oregon School of Law where he obtained his Juris Doctor in December 2004. During law school, Robert helped create the Restorative Justice Program on the Oregon campus. He is a member of the California Bar and the Alameda County Bar Association. His primary practice includes workers' compensation defense.
